Sustainability coordinator

The “Sustainability Coordinator” has an expert eye and ear for objectives within and outside the organization in the areas of “strategy” and “feasibility” with sustainable impact on the Planet. This is necessary because various objectives must be determined and achieved, with all kinds of colleagues and managers in these large organizations within Belgium, Europe and beyond.

The comparability of all that data and its accuracy with averages or exact figures, which sometimes differ per country, supplier and continent, are among the challenges of this role. All this is necessary for the accuracy of the mandatory transparent reporting.

For them, words like “Fit for 55” are everyday life. “SDGs”, “CO2”, “GHG”, “LCA”, “LCIA”, “ESG”, “EU Taxonomy” and “CSRD” are also terms they juggle and Google. They mainly work together within the organization to get everyone on the same page about that 'green air'. This acts as an essential wind in the sails on the path to the “Sustainable Future” of the organization, its customers, suppliers, investors and employees.
